To all of our CPAP patients
As your DME provider it is our responsibility to help insure that you CPAP/BIPAP equipment and supplies remain in excellent condition. But most importantly, keep you healthy.
- Did you know it is recommended to have your CPAP/BIPAP device checked annually for pressure accuracy?
- Do you struggle with mask leaks that awaken you through the night?
- Have you replaced any disposable items within the last six months?
Are you aware that your CPAP/BIPAP supplies need to be replaced on a regular basis to assure the best possible working of your machine? Below you will find a list of parts that require replacement and the normal replacement interval of each supply.
CPAP/BIPAP mask 1 every 3 months
CPAP/BIPAP mask cushion 1 every 1 month
CPAP/BIPAP headgear 1 every 6 months
CPAP/BIPAP chinstrap 1 every 6 months
CPAP/BIPAP tubing 1 every 3 months
CPAP/BIPAP filter-disposable 2 every 1 month
CPAP/BIPAP filter-reusable 1 every 6 months
CPAP/BIPAP water chamber 1 every 6 months
In addition to the regular replacement of the supplies, over time there may be a need of a refitting of your mask for the best possible fit.
If you are in need of new supplies or a refitting, please call our office in advance so we can make arrangements to have all of the insurance paperwork done prior to your visit. *A new prescription may be required and we will be happy to arrange that for you.*
